IMA Module

Test Menu

The Test Menu allows the user to perform a variety of

loopback tests for both a group as a whole or for

individual DS1/E1 Ports. Table 5 provides a list and

description of each available loopback test.

Performance Monitoring

The Performance Monitoring menu provides

performance information for the IMA link, individual

DS1/E1 ports, and the IMA group as a whole. The

Performance Monitoring menu provides access to

Daily and/or Quarter-Hour statistics. Daily

Performance Monitoring provides the user with daily

counts of multiple performance monitoring statistics.

Quarter-Hour Performance Monitoring provides the

user with performance monitoring statistics in

15-minute intervals over a 1-hour and 45-minute

period.

5. SPECIFICATIONS

Table 6 provides the specifications for the Quad T1/

E1 IMA Module. Information provided in this

Installation and Maintenance Practice is written based

on Application Software revision A01.
