Frame Relay Sub-Interface Config Command Set Command Reference Guide

dial-backup force <state>

Use the dial-backup force command to manually override the automatic dial backup feature. This can be

used to force a link into backup to allow maintenance to be performed on the primary link without

disrupting data. Use the no form of this command to return to the normal dial-backup operation state.

Syntax Description

<state>

Selects the forced backup state of the sub-link.

backup

Force backup regardless of primary link state

primary

Force primary link regardless of its state

Default Values

By default, this feature is disabled.

The following configures the ADTRAN OS to force this endpoint into dial-backup:
